Let Them Eat {Birthday} Cake

Hello there!

Sharing a birthday card with you using one of my favorite
color combos...aqua, violet and gold!!!
I used the stamp sets Celebrate With Cake, and Sassy Birthday, along with Diamond Flower Stencil.
I inked up the background with this sweet stencil and distress oxide inks in peacock
feathers and tumbled glass. Than I added some gold and black paint splatters and set aside to dry.

I stamped the double layer cake than masked the image and stamped the pedestal
from the single layer cake. I colored the cake with Copic Markers in shades:
cake plate: BG10, BG11
Cake: E50, E51
Icing and Flowers:  V12, V15, V17
Topper: BG11, BG13, BG18
For the sentiment, I shaded a piece of Copic friendly paper with V12, 15, and 17.
I embossed the sentiment with gold powder.
For a finishing touch I added some clear stickles glitter glue and sequins.

Cherish- Adore- Memory Box

Hello there!
I'm up on the Memory Box Blog  today!

Sharing a slimline card I created using Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out craft die, Leafy Heart craft die, Gloriosa Butterfly Duo Outlines craft die and Big and Little Valentine's clear stamp set.
The slimline card measures 3 1/2 by 8 1/2. I trimmed the top panel and used the Double Stitch Loving Heart dies and cut three windows. I splattered some gold paint over the panel. After I die cut the Leafy Heart I used the same gold paint and brushed the leaves.  I adhered the die cut Leafy Heart to the middle heart window. Adhere the top panel to the aqua card base using foam tape.
I colored the die cut butterflies with Copic Marker shades BG13 and BG18; W5 and W7. Adhere the butterflies to the card. I added some stickles clear glitter glue to the butterflies and Leafy Heart. I inked up some cardstock with the same teal markers and embossed the sentiments with gold embossing powder. For a finishing touch I scattered some sequins.
Thank you for stopping by!
I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have!

All My Love Forever- Memory Box Co

Hello there!
I'm on the Memory Box Blog

Hello !!! Michelle here!  Funny how we go from Christmas and holiday cards, right to Valentine's Day cards!  I made this card for my husband. I love the teal shades paired with black and silver. I used Leafy Heart Craft Die and die cut it two times, once on copic friendly paper the second on black cardstock.  I laid down a layer of  Copic BG11 than added some darker shades of BG15, BG34 and BG18.  I adhered the colored leaf to the black leaf cluster a bit off set. Add some silver stickles glitter glue and set aside to dry.

I inked up my background panel with tumbled glass, evergreen bough, mermaid lagoon and black soot. I splattered some white and black paint. Set aside to dry. Die cut Love Airy Script Craft Die two times, silver and black cardstock. Adhere off set.  I embossed the sentiment from Big and Little Valentine's Clear Stamp Set using silver embossing powder.

I assembled all the elements using foam tape. To finish off I added some silver gems. I love it!!!
