This adorable stamp set, Monster Carnival, is so much fun to color up and bring to life!

Here are the steps I used to create this card:

Let's Get Coloring- CDD Designer Creative Challenge

Hello there!!!
Today, the Craftin' Desert Divas are sharing some tips and inspiration for coloring!
I have learned so much from the talented ladies on this design team!!!
Hope you enjoy my small tip for applying distress ink to your background.

Tip* I use clear contact paper when applying distress inks.
I ink up the applicator than dab on plastic contact. This allows me to have control of how much I apply, have an even amount of ink on the sponge, and not waste any ink.

The shiny background is where I secure the clear contact paper ( not paper, plastic ).
This is the stuff we use to cover our kids books for school...
so I know you have some laying around 😉
I ink up the sponge, dab and swirl on the plastic a few times. Repeat a few times.
I only use the ink on the palstic to reink the sponge. I very rarely need more.
When I am done, I simply wipe it with a damp paper towel and reuse for the next backround.
There are never any blothes of ink!

I used the new stamp set Brighter Days, and added some flowers
from the stamp set Ladybug Garden.  I die cut the focal point with
I used worn lipstick distress oxide ink to ink up the background.
The pink dots were made using Copic Markers in shades
RV21, RV13, RV10, RV00.

I colored this adorable bunny in shades E00, E74, E71, E70; RV21, RV13, RV00;
Y15, Y26, Y21, Y11; YG17, YG05; G000, G00.
I added some white accents with a gel pen
and scattered some sequins.

Thanks for stopping by for a peek!!!
