Next, watercoloring is not for the OCD-at-heart. Gotta think of it kinda like magic. I like the wet-on-wet technique. As for a video, there are tons but I was very inspired by those from Dawn at WPlus9. She is amazing.maria f.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08185589886852752119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3427716898224041648.post-30908515601022266252015-02-15T13:20:59.695-05:002015-02-15T13:20:59.695-05:00Don't be too hard on yourself. Even the expert...Don't be too hard on yourself. Even the experts were beginners when they started. In my opinion I think your did a fab job. I am trying out watercoloring myself. I stamp my flowers with Versamark and heat emboss them. After that you can color them. Or create stripes or cicrles as a background. Set aside to let dry and stamp on top of it. I use aquarel paper. It's pefect because it absorbs a lot of water and dries "flat"<br />Good luck and keep practicing! Thanks so much for joining us at CCCB!Stellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220861177057319504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3427716898224041648.post-76027567790796010502015-02-14T17:39:31.048-05:002015-02-14T17:39:31.048-05:00Gorgeous!Gorgeous!Deeptihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04234326634594847786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3427716898224041648.post-27316073237752794472015-02-14T09:18:38.332-05:002015-02-14T09:18:38.332-05:00Very pretty card! Embossing clear on black ink or white embossing or even gold and silver. This gives you an area to keep your colour within, a bit more control. Think of where you want the colour to be more intense and start with the colour there and just add more water to draw it out. Light is better, you can always add more colour if you feel it is too light. Really let one colour dry before you add another especially if their mixing is likely to cause it to turn muddly. Somè colours blend beautifully, others dont. Some times I prefer to wet the area I will be working in first so i use a clean brush and paint as though it is paint but itswater I am laying down. Then start adding the paint and let it spread. Hope this helps a bitAileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05065467158684916535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3427716898224041648.post-22587438631721905192015-02-13T16:18:59.253-05:002015-02-13T16:18:59.253-05:00Sure is sweet, thanks for sharing with us at CCCB!...Sure is sweet, thanks for sharing with us at CCCB!Kirsty Vittetoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13865134497128287875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3427716898224041648.post-55192926298129186522015-02-13T10:19:25.098-05:002015-02-13T10:19:25.098-05:00So very lovely!! One thing I learned was if I don't like how it's looking, I mist it again with water and let it move around some more, but that doesn't always work.Kara Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08891130185330712868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3427716898224041648.post-80970354666406651342015-02-12T00:15:16.939-05:002015-02-12T00:15:16.939-05:00I love both your cards!
