Twinkle Toe Kisses, Birthday Wishes

Hello there!

I'm stopping by to share with you some cards I created using the newly released stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas, Twinkle Toes. I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of their guest designers. I'll be sharing my cards with you over the next few and on my Instagram!!!

Here are some cards...
I started off watercoloring some stripes onto watercolor cardstock with picked raspberry distress ink and washi tape. Than I used Craftin' Desert Divas' Inside Scalloped Rectangle Dies to die cut the panel. The bow die is also part of the die collection.
I stamped the hippo with frayed burlap distress ink, than colored and fussy cut the image. I cut the head of another stamped hippo and used foam tape to prop it up for some dimension. I used Copic Markers in shades W00, W1, W3, W4, RV10, R81, R83, YR21, and YR24. I added some white accents with a gel pen and Wink of Stella to her tutu. I stamped the sentiment with frayed burlap distress ink. For a finishing touch I scattered some sequins.

I followed the same process and used the same products for this card. For the stripes I used cracked pistachio distress oxide ink. The sentiment was stamped with gray flannel ink from Memento.
I used Copic Markers in shades W00, W1, W3, W4, YR21, YR24, R20, R30, V12, V15, and V17.

I am adding this to The Paper Players

Thanks for peeking!!!

Michelle those dancing hippos are adorable and the brushstroke lined background very clever - it looks almost like DSP. Thanks for sharing your card in my CAS colouring challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
