Hello

Hello there Crafters!

Today I have the honor of designing along with Colour Me's.... design team for their 1 Year Anniversary!!!!

For the challenge we are asked to choose a favorite color combo from the past year!!!! So hard to do....but I chose week # 30...you can see my original card here...

This is what I recreated...

I decided to do a little water coloring...clearly I need to work on it! I used Color Box inks in canary and magenta and water brush. Than I splattered some Heidi Swapp shine spray in black, but the paper wasn't completely dry...the the splatter smeared...weird.

The hello die is from Lil'Inker Designs. I used an old piece of gold glitter cardstock from Recollections. The rectangle stitched die is also Lil'Inker Designs.

I hope you can play along!

I am also entering this in AAA Cards Challenge...

Thanks for stopping by!

I used two different size circle dies from Spellbnders to cut the shapes and just layered them randomly. The large rectangle stitched die is from Lil' Inker Designs. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, Scripty Sayings. I used black ink from Memento. The enamel dots are from Recollections. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Merry Christmas

Hello there!

How are you all doing?
We are totally chilling out here...just one more week off from school. Unfortunately, we do have some school work to do.
Any plans for the New Year? Wow, 2015!!!!
We will be hanging out at home with family and friends.

Tonight I am sharing with you my last card for 2014...I am playing along with a few challenges...

CAS on Sunday... Christmas
For this card I used Autumn Blessings stamp set and coordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp, but made it Christmasy. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. I used inks from Hero Arts in soft brown, cup o' joe and field greens, WPlus9 in sweet gelato, and black ink from Memento.

The gold splatter is Heidi Swapp's shine mist spray. The enamel dots are from My Mind's Eye.
I am also playing along with Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes...
Hope you had a wonderful year and may you have many blessings in 2015!!!

Congratulations

Hello there!

Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with family and friends!!!!

Today I am playing along with the Papertrey Ink December 2014 Blog Hop...I'm sure you are too!!!

I fell in love with this cake, one of the inspiration pics...the color palette of gold and pink...my favorite!!!
So I incorporated the same likeness in my card...

All stamps are from PTI, Polka Dot Basics, Holiday Cheer and Scattered Showers. I used both gold and silver embossing powder from Recollections and just poured it over the dots.

All cardstock is from PTI. Black ink is memento. Sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it for me today...I can't wait to see what you created!

Hugs, Kisses & Happy Wishes

Hello there!

Welcome to The Girl Friday Mystery Reveal Blog Hop!
12 amazingly talented designers are joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Team! We have been sworn to secrecy for the past few months, and today we finally get to spill our beans!
I'm a Girl Friday!!!!!!!!

Wow!
Wow!
Wow!
It's me, Michelle Bala!
Thank you for stopping by today!!!
I still can't believe I am part of this team and that the reveal day is finally here!!! I have been having a blast playing around with CAS-ual Fridays stamps and dies and I can't wait to show you what I have created for the up coming challenges!!!

Today I decided to stick with the Christmas spirit!

Can you guess what stamp I used to create the candy cane?.....
I used Lotsa Links!!!! I just curved it and colored it! Some Copic markers did the trick. Then I added some white accents with a gel pen. The sentiment is from Wonderful Words. I think it ties in perfectly with candy cane and Christmas message!

I stamped all the images with black ink from Memento. For the finishing touches I added sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and wood stars from Studio Calico.

We could just make a regular old team announcement, but that wouldn't be nearly as fun as a mystery blog hop filled with awesome creative inspiration, clues and prizes...would it?

  • To join the fun, you'll need to start at the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog  where you will be given the link to meet the first Girl Friday and collect your first clue.
  • Then continue through our mystery blog hop, meeting the team, gathering clues and leaving comments along the way for your chance to win prizes! Yes, prizes!!
  • Each new Girl Friday has a prize up for grabs!
  • At the last stop on the hop, you'll have one more chance to win a prize by using the clues you've gathered to solve the mystery. The hop ends at noon on December 27th.

Be sure to leave a comment here for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!!!
