Hey there!

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!

Are you still eating turkey? We are, along with stuffing, stuffed mushrooms, sweet potato, and artichokes! I love it, but will be sick of it by tomorrow!
Did you do any shopping today? I never seem to be in the mood for black friday shopping. I know I miss a great deal of 'good deals'!
I want to share with you what I created using the colors from  ColourQ
Most inks are Color Box, moss green, surf and mudslide; soft cantaloupe is Hero Arts. Cardstock is Papertrey Ink.
and the sketch from Retro Sketches ...

I used a very 'loose' interpretation of the sketch. I hope you can see it in my design.
For the stamps I used Papertrey Inks Bubble Talk and Live Love Life sets. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things set On the Line.
The sequins are from neat & Tangled Stamps.

Welcome Baby

Just one more card for tonight...
I couldn't pass up the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches...

The FMS desigers blew me away with their cards for this challenge! You should take a look!

All pattern papers are from Teresa Collins Summer Stories 6x6 pad.  I added some gems from Recollections.
I covered some wood hearts (Jillibean Soup) with the same paper. The 'welcome' sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Wreath for all Seasons, the 'baby' sentiment is from W Plus9's Kisses and Cuddles. I inked them up with Hero Arts black ink.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Bring on the happy

Hello there!

I just want to share with you what I created using the CAS-ual Fridays newest challenge...Create With 8...
So I went with 8 candles!
Can I tell you, I have been wanting to make a card like this for some time now. I have seen them all over the blogs and card making magazines and have loved them!

But, I some what cheated.
I used paper straws instead of pattern paper for my candles....I was a little lazy!

I used yellow cord for the wicks, the kind you use for necklaces or bracelets. The paper straws are from Just Artifacts and Michaels. That fun sentiment is from Hero Arts. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink and the gems are Recollections.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Christmas Wishes...

Holy smokes...this is a first for me...four challenges in one card!!!

With the Christmas season almost upon us, I suspect many blog challenges will involve the holiday theme. This was pretty easy for me to incorporate, but it very rarely happens for me.
So, let's get to the point...

I printed this taupe gingham paper from an Etsy Shop. The leaves were cut with an EK Succes punch. I used two different color green cardstock from Papertrey Ink. All cardstock and twine are from PTI.  The sentiment stamp is from WPlus 9, inked up with Hero Arts black ink. The bells are from Michaels. The sequins are Neat & Tangled Stamps.

Here are the challenges I was inspired by...

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas

Hey there, Crafter's!

I can't believe it's Monday...the weekend just flew by! Lots of soccer, basketball, laundry...and then before you know it, it comes to an end! But not before I got to make some cards!!!

So I'm playing along with The Paper Players ...
And I came up with this when I combined them...
Being that Christmas is right around the corner, why not get ahead start! I embossed the sentiment from Hero Arts with white embossing powder from Stampendous. The pattern paper is from Heidi Swapp and the cardstock is Papertrey Ink. I also used an embossing folder fromn Cuttlebug.

The holly leaves is from Waltzingmouse Stamps, inked up with evergreen ink from ColorBox. I added some twine from PTI, sequins from Neat & Tangled Stamps and gems from Recollections.
