A Little Something...

Hello crafters!!!

Just sharing something I created for two challenges...

Monday Mood Board...

I have to say, this one stumped me! So I looked for a sketch challenge and decided to use this one from Freshly Made Sketches...

So I came up with this....
All cardstock is from Papertrey Ink, button and twine also. The embossing folder is from Life Style Crafts. I distressed the edges with fresh snow ink from PTI.

I used my favorite floral stamps and dies from W Plus 9, Fresh Cut Florals. The sentiment is from Blanket Stitched Blooms. For the inks, I used classic kraft from Papertrey Ink, soft green and soft blossom from Hero Arts, and tattered rose and bundlednsage distress ink.  I added some embossed stitches with my scor bug and scor pal. The gems are from Recollections.

Happy Birthday

Hello again!

My poor kids have officially placed their mopey frowns on their faces and won't take them off! Today started the 9 day countdown to the dredded!!!

I can honestly say I feel their pain! I am not looking forward to the hustle and bustle of school, homework, soccer and the rest of life getting in the way! Oh, what's a woman to do?

On that note, I wanted to get crafting!

I'm playing along with Dynamic Duos....
I am absolutely crazy over the PTI Bubble Talk stamp set!!!!

I used tattered rose distress ink from Ranger and soft cantaloupe shadow ink from Hero Arts. White cardstock is also PTI.

I inked the sentiment up with wet cement ink from Hero Arts. I scattered some sequins from Neat & Tangle Stamps ( they were a free thank you with my order....yipee!).

Wish me luck with the little chickies....I hope I haven't seen the last of their smiles!

I'm sure you are playing along!
How fabulous are the sketches and and color palette?!!
I chose three of them to create with...

First up...

I could not resist the color/sketch combo.....oh lala!!! Even better...I just received the new stamp sets I ordered from PTI!!!

I am completely smitten with Bubble Talk and Embroidered Blooms!!!
All cardstock and stamps are PTI. I used a Spellbinders die to cut the flower. I used several inks: PTI hawaiian shores, Color Box wisteria and royal blue, Ranger distress crushed olive.

I added enamel dots from My Minds Eye and liquid pearls to the flower center. And for the moment I cannot recall the stamp set to which the tiny blossom is from! ( hate when that happens)

Take Care...

Good morning....TGIF!!!

Hope the sun is shinning in your neck of the woods! We are going to have a beautiful weekend here in New York!

I'm playing along with Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger...  'My Cup of Tea'...although, I prefer coffee!

I was disappointed when I searched thru my stamp stash and realized I do not own a cup and saucer stamp....large enough to hold a bouquet of flowers. I'm on the search for one! If you know who manufactures one, give me a holler!

So I decided to use the tea pot from Papertrey Inks, Tea for Two. I filled the tea pot with a bouquet of flowers from W Plus 9, Fresh Cut Florals ( stamps and dies).  I used an array of inks: Color Box cyan, tangarine, shabby pink, scarlet, fresh green and khaki green; Hero Arts black, soft blossom and soft yellow.

I colored the tea pot with Copic Marker B21. I added a layer of glossy accents to resemble the saucer.

I added cord from Darice and a button from PTI. Gems are Recollections.

Thanks for peeking!

Have a great weekend!

Today begins a new challenge over at The Ribbon Reel... Sarah is our host this week and she has chosen this adorable photo to draw inspiration from
