Sorry for your loss

Today was a very sad day.
The principle of my daughters school died this morning.
After 25 years as principle, she had planned to retire at the end of the school year.
Such dismal, teary-eyed faces on all the girls. They will sorely miss their principle who cared so much for them!
Sr. Rose, this post is in honor of you!
We will miss you deeply.

Today's card is for The Play Date Cafe

Here is the card I made
Kraft paper is Recollections. Pattern papers are Melissa Frances and DCWV.  The sentiment and border stamps are Hero Arts. Black ink is HA. Leaf punch is Mc Gill. Tea dye distress ink from Ranger. Ribbon and gems from Michaels.

Thanks for stopping by,

Michelle

This is so sad. I can imagine your daughters must be very upset. I think this card will help them feel a little better about celebrating the life of someone they cared for.

This is a lovely card! Sorry about your daughter's principal. A shame she didnt get to enjoy retiring, but it sounds like she was doing what she loved.
