Get Well...

Back again with a card for The Play Date Cafe.

Tough colors, huh?
At least for me they are.

I decided to use one of the new Hero Arts cling stamps, Lotus Flower.  I inked it up with several color inks, terra cotta and cote d'azure from Papertrey Ink, and cyan from ColorBox. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, inked with HA black ink.  The cs is a mix of Recollections and PTI.  Spellbinders die for the tag.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful card, love the layout! I too found the colours a bit tricky, but i really like how they have turned out! I love the floral pattern you used too.

Yes, I agree the colors were tough this week, Michelle.! But, you created a lovely card! The lotus flower stamp is so beautiful. The flowers seem to just flow across the card...great effect! Take care and have a great weekend!:-))

This color palette was a toughie for me, too, Michelle. I like how you split up your focal point into three panels, and placed the sentiment in the corner. Gives the pretty lotus flowers pride of place! Thanks for playing with us at The Play Date Cafe, Michelle. :)

You did marvelously with the colors despite them being out of your comfort zone - wasn't it fun to stretch your wings? :) I love how you blended them all together for your background. So glad you gave them a try. Thanks for playing along at The Play Date Cafe.
