Merci

Hi everyone!
What lousy weather we are having here in New York...rain, rain and more rain!

Hope the weather is nice by you!

And, hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend and upcoming week with the kids home!

Tonight I want to share what I made for The Play Date Cafe.  Love the fun colors this week!

It's always a good day when you can find pattern papers in your stash that match the challenge colors!
Luckily I had some...
The pattern papers are from Prima. The red, pink and ivory cs are  from Recollections.  The blue cs is from Papertrey Ink. The ribbon and gems are from Michaels.

The frame is from Tattered Angels. I trimmed off one side. I like the look of an open frame. The leaf stamp is also Papertrey Ink. The butterfly and sentimnt are Hero Arts. I used Hero Arts black ink. For the branches and flowers I used an ek succes puncher.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Easter!

Michelle

Michelle I just LOVE every piece and bit of this card. The colors are spot on and the idea of an open frame is brilliant and stunning! A peerfect match of papers and embellishments. Fabulous!

Our weather is wonderful. It looks like summer here; 25 degrees Celsius and we're having dinner in the garden every night since last week. It's not usual for Holland to have this kind of weather in April so that makes it even more amazing. We are enjoying every minute of it with blue skies and lots of sun. And the opportunity to spend the evening sitting in the garden... with fresh coffee and after that a glass of cold white wine....

Michelle, this is pretty-pretty-pretty! And I agree it's a good thing when you find patterned papers to match a challenge. Lately, I've been doing LOTS of that (you'll see it with this week's sample card, and upcoming challenges, too); it helps save some time. Thanks for playing with The Play Date Cafe!
