With Sympathy

Here is a card mad for The Play Date Cafe. They are asking us to make a card or project using black and whte with a splash of color.....

and we get to choose the color!!!!

I chose a splash of purple. I had this image in mind, and it is alwasys good to have a sympathy card on hand.
The pattern paper is from Therea Collins, white cs is Recollections. Stamps from Papertrey Ink, black embossing powder. Purple colored pencil, distress crackle paint, jet black ink.

Thanks for looking and leaving a comment!

What a lovely rose stamp, Michelle! And I like how you addded just a touch of black paper behind the main stamp image! You colored the rose bud so pretty...love it!!!

Michelle; this looks CAS but I think it's not simple to create. It's a terrific idea and your card turned out gorgeous. I love that splash of purple. An elegant sympathy card and that's not an easy job to create. I love it!

Really clever to colour in the rosebud. This is eye-catching and a good design for a sympathy card!
I love this card.
