Here is a little chipboard bird made for Just Us Girls Challenge Blog . The challenge was to create a 3D flower. Mine was made from white lace. I used Tattered Angels Pomegranate and Wheatfields glimmer mists to color it.
Paper and leaves are Prima. Pearls, gems, tulle  are from Michaels. Tea dye distress ink for edges. Pins are Maya Road (except green, that's a sewing pin). Twine is from Papertrey Ink. Tear drop crystal is Melissa Frances.

Just a quick post today. This card was made for The Play Date Cafe .  Here are the materials I used:
Lilac cardstock from Bazzill; Black and white cs from Papertrey Ink. Stamps from Hero Arts; Ink is black soot distress; Lyra colored pencils; distress crackle paint; Martha Stewart corner and border punch.

Warm Winter Wishes

Here is a card made for one of my favorite challenge blogs....The Shabby Tea Room !!!
I might add it is perfect for the weather most of North America is having!!!
I love this little snowman.. he is so cute!  All papers and sentiment are from Papertrey Ink. Snowman is from Inkadinkado, snowflake is Unity Stamp Co. Twine is from The Twinery, pearls and gems and bell are from Michaels. Moon is from Melissa Frances. VersaMark WaterMark pad and white embossing powder.

Sending Sunshine

Another challenge over at ColourQ . These colors are screaming  SUMMER, it's almost depressing!
I live in NY and we just got another six inches of snow.....and expecting more on Tuesday. I need a Carribean Vacation...soon!!!

Home Sweet Home

Tonight I'm playing along with The Shabby Tea Room . The theme is "White and Bright".

I really liked the texture in the table cloth, so I let that be my background. I also wanted to keep the yellow for brightness and just added some pearls and bling. I just received the bird cage stamps from Stampin' Up...I love them and look forward to using them again! Hope you like the card as much as I do!

Spring Wishes

I am really kidding myself....spring wishes....we still have soooo much snow!! :(:(

Key to my Heart

Today I cheated a little, no stamping, no cutting!  I used my Big Shot and rub-ons.
I made a Valentine's day card for my husband, now I just have to put it away and remember where I put it!
The background cardstock is from Core'dinations, the aqua cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.
The white flourish rub-on is from fancy pants, "key to my heart" is from glitz.
The key hole is from Melissa Frances.  Metal heart and silver trim is from Michaels.
Gray pearls are from Prima.  Spellbinders dies scalloped circles and large standard circles.

I finally received my new Hero Arts stamps in the mail....I could not wait to use them!!!!
I made the card from Bazzill cardstock. The black and white pattern paper is from Pink Paisley.
The pink and white floral paper is from Anna Griffin.
The stamp is Hero Arts, Let's Garden Silhouette. I embossed it with black powder.
The black velvet trim is from Chatter Box, white trim and pink tinsel are Webster's Pages.
The flower is Recollections. The metal dragonfly is Making Memeories. The emerald shape gem is Jolee's.

Moxie Fab....Gray is the New Black!

Here is a card I made for Moxie Fab. They wanted us to use the color gray in an innovative way.
So I used my favorite pair of gray heels as inspiration.
I just started using score-pal and score bug embosser...I LOVE IT!!!!!!
It is so cool to design your own pattern on paper. I embossed the shoe and the card.
white cardstock from Hero Arts, lt. gray paper from recollections, dk. gray from core'dinations.
stamp: Papertrey Ink Damask Desgns in StazOn jet black ink. I gently rubbed StazOn gray dove ink over shoe.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #63

Isn't this beautiful!!....then why did I having such a hard time putting something together????
I guess that's why they call it the color challenge!! 

These colors were definitely out of my realm: green grass, gold and silver. WOW!
 Anyone who knows me knows I'm really good with pink and brown. Now that's comfortable to me!
